Q: Dear CK, what is the best way to get a boyfriend? I'm feeling very single now that it's almost Valentine's Day. A: Thanks for the question! First of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being single, but we also understand you are wanting to have a boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. Companionship is nice to have, especially during a special time of the year. Our biggest piece of advice would be to not force anything. Don’t get into a relationship with someone just because you want a boyfriend, that will never end up good. If you do have a crush on someone though, don’t be afraid to tell them how you feel, you never know how it could turn out. Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith.
Yours truly, CK Q: Dear CK, I am struggling with school. My grades have fallen and I am stressed out. I don't know how to get caught up. My parents are angry and have grounded me. A: Thank you for your response! The biggest piece of advice we can give you is to prioritize your schoolwork. Stay on top of your work even if you're unmotivated to do so: it will pay off in the long run. Make a list of your homework so that each night you have that list and won't forget anything. Talk to your parents if you are stressed out and just explain that you are struggling, this will prevent them from being as upset. And more than anything, just try your best; no one can be upset if you're putting in your best effort.
